Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end data science initiatives, from problem formulation and data acquisition to model deployment and monitoring.
- Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models and statistical algorithms to solve complex business challenges and drive product innovation.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business intelligence teams to identify opportunities and translate requirements into robust data science solutions.
- Conduct rigorous experimentation (A/B testing) to evaluate model performance, iterate on improvements, and measure real-world impact.
- Present complex findings, insights, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Mentor junior data scientists, fostering their growth and contributing to the team's overall knowledge base and best practices.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI research, actively integrating new techniques and tools as appropriate.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with privacy regulations across all analytical projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong portfolio of impactful projects and leadership experience.
- Expert proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Demonstrated experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and experimental design.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and insights to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn) to communicate insights effectively.
