As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying scalable data models and algorithms. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define problems, and deliver data-driven solutions that enhance our products and services. Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development, validation, and deployment of sophisticated machine learning models and predictive algorithms.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic business decisions and product roadmaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate ambiguous business problems into well-defined data science projects and technical requirements.
- Design and implement robust A/B tests and other experimental designs to measure the impact of new features and product changes.
- Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines, ensuring data quality, integrity, and accessibility for analytical processes.
- Mentor junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practices within the team.
- Communicate complex analytical findings, insights, and recommendations clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a highly related analytical role, with a strong portfolio of deployed projects.
- Expert proficiency in Python or R, with extensive experience in data manipulation and machine learning libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, experimental design, and causal inference.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation from large-scale relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to lead projects, work independently, and contribute collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
