Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from problem definition to model deployment and monitoring.
- Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to predict trends and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate data-driven insights into core products and features.
- Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate the impact of new features and business initiatives.
- Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the growth of the team's technical capabilities.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in data science and machine learning.
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, with a strong portfolio of impactful projects.
- Expert proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL.
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and experimental design (A/B testing).
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or equivalent cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decisions.
