Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify key business questions, translate them into analytical problems, and develop data-driven solutions.
- Perform in-depth statistical analysis and build predictive models to forecast trends, optimize performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ensure data quality and integrity for analytical projects.
- Mentor junior data scientists, providing guidance on best practices, methodologies, and technical skills.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and apply relevant techniques to current projects.
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong portfolio of successfully deployed projects.
- Expert proficiency in Python (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy) and/or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
- Strong experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation from large datasets.
- Proven ability to develop, validate, and deploy production-ready machine learning models (e.g., classification, regression, clustering, time series).
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or similar distributed computing frameworks.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps practices is a plus.
