Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy sophisticated machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to identify opportunities for data-driven optimization.
- Translate unstructured data into high-value insights through advanced statistical analysis and data visualization.
- Design and maintain automated data pipelines to ensure high-quality, real-time data flow.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to architectural decisions across the platform.
- Conduct A/B testing and rigorous validation of model performance in production environments.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership to influence product roadmaps.
Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of industry experience building and shipping machine learning models at scale.
- Proficiency in Python and deep understanding of machine learning libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn).
- Strong command of SQL and experience working with cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Solid grasp of cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines for model deployment.
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Spark or Dask.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
