Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development, validation, and deployment of advanced machine learning models and statistical algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate the impact of new features and product changes, providing actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define problem statements, gather requirements, and communicate findings effectively.
- Mine large, complex datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization and predictive modeling.
- Mentor junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practices within the team.
- Develop robust data pipelines and integrate models into production systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI, applying relevant techniques to enhance our capabilities.
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of progressive industry experience as a Data Scientist, with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and/or R, including relevant data science libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy).
- Strong expertise in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis from large-scale databases.
- Demonstrated experience with various machine learning techniques (e.g., supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning, deep learning) and statistical modeling.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or similar distributed computing frameworks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps practices is a significant plus.
