Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models to predict user behavior and optimize business outcomes
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from hypothesis formulation to production deployment
- Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured datasets using SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Create compelling data visualizations and presentations to communicate insights to executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior data scientists and foster a collaborative, data-literate culture
- Stay current with industry trends and implement innovative methodologies in data science
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in applied data science, with proven portfolio of ML deployments
- Expert proficiency in Python, SQL, and statistical modeling (scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- Strong experience with cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake) and ETL processes
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience with A/B testing, experimental design, and causal inference
