Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of machine learning models, from ideation and data collection to deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate with business units to identify key challenges and translate them into data science problems.
- Design and implement advanced statistical analyses and predictive algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Clean, preprocess, and analyze large, complex datasets from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Communicate complex analytical findings and insights clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the growth of our data science practice through knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Research and evaluate new data science methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance our capabilities.
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, with a strong portfolio of deployed models and solutions.
- Expert proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and experimental design (A/B testing).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence technical and business leaders.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Experience with MLOps practices and tools for model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance is a plus.
