Responsibilities
- Data Modeling & Analysis: Design and maintain complex data models and schemas to support business reporting and analytics needs.
- Dashboard Development: Create interactive, high-performance dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) in real-time.
- SQL & ETL: Write efficient, optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, including SQL databases and APIs.
- Statistical Analysis: Apply advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques to forecast trends, perform A/B testing, and identify growth opportunities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define metrics, answer ad-hoc business questions, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current data infrastructure and propose solutions to improve data quality, accuracy, and accessibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Visualization: Strong hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate technical findings into clear, concise narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of solving complex business problems through data.
