Nexus Analytics Group is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our high-growth team in San Francisco. You will bridge the gap between raw data and executive strategy, working on complex datasets to fuel product innovation and operational excellence.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust reporting frameworks and influence critical decision-making processes across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable dashboards using Tableau and Looker to provide real-time business visibility.
- Perform deep-dive exploratory data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and operational bottlenecks.
- Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to optimize user engagement and product feature performance.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure data integrity and define tracking requirements for new launches.
- Translate complex technical findings into clear, impactful presentations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Automate manual reporting processes to improve organizational efficiency and data accessibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence within a fast-paced environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction and transformation.
- Advanced experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or Power BI).
- Proven ability to script and automate workflows using Python or R.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a high degree of business acumen and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
