We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our San Francisco team. Responsibilities
- Data Strategy & Modeling: Design and implement complex data models to support business reporting and predictive analysis.
- Visualization & Dashboarding: Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and real-time metrics.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and executives to define data requirements and translate business questions into technical data queries.
- Clean Data Management: Lead efforts to clean, validate, and integrate data from disparate sources, ensuring high data quality and integrity.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform deep-dive statistical analysis to identify market trends, customer behavior patterns, and operational inefficiencies.
- Process Improvement: Develop automated reporting scripts to streamline workflows and reduce manual data entry errors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) for data extraction; Strong experience with Python or R for data manipulation; Expert level in Tableau or Power BI.
- Database Knowledge: Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is highly desirable.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
- Tools: Experience with version control (Git) and agile methodologies.
