Responsibilities
- Lead Data Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive data analysis frameworks to support key business objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Predictive Modeling: Develop advanced statistical models to forecast market trends and assess credit risk with high precision.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product and risk management teams to translate complex data findings into clear, strategic recommendations.
- Dashboard Development: Build and maintain interactive Power BI and Tableau dashboards to provide real-time visibility into KPIs and performance metrics.
- Data Governance: Enforce data quality standards and ensure adherence to GDPR and FCA regulations across all data pipelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a strong advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data analysis within the banking or fintech sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and advanced Excel. Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/AWS) is required.
- Visualization: Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating compelling visual stories using Tableau or Power BI.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
