Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust security controls across multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal and external assets.
- Lead incident response efforts and forensic analysis for security-related events.
- Develop and maintain automated security policy-as-code scripts to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline (DevSecOps).
- Design and oversee identity and access management (IAM) strategies at scale.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of security-first development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Cloud Security engineering.
- Active certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security Specialty.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of container security (Kubernetes, Docker) and serverless architectures.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks including NIST, SOC2, and HIPAA.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
