Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-layered security architectures for cloud-native platforms.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical internal systems.
- Lead incident response operations and root-cause analysis for high-severity security events.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate 'Security-as-Code' principles into CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage and optimize SIEM, EDR, and IAM solutions to ensure 24/7 environment visibility.
- Mentor junior security analysts and contribute to the development of corporate security policies.
- Stay ahead of emerging threat landscapes and implement proactive defense mechanisms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or network security architecture.
- Deep understanding of AWS/Azure/GCP security services and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, and Okta.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go for security automation.
- Industry certifications highly preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, OSCP, or AWS Security Specialty).
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with an ability to communicate complex risks to stakeholders.
