We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our elite task force in San Francisco. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures for cloud-native applications.
- Lead proactive threat hunting exercises and perform deep-dive vulnerability assessments.
- Develop and automate security incident response playbooks to mitigate risks in real-time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional DevOps teams to integrate DevSecOps best practices into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Manage and monitor SIEM/SOAR platforms to ensure optimal detection coverage.
- Conduct regular penetration testing and red-teaming simulations to identify perimeter weaknesses.
- Mentor junior security analysts and contribute to internal security documentation and policy enforcement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering or infrastructure defense.
- Expert proficiency in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization security (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, NIST frameworks, and CIS benchmarks.
- Industry-standard certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSEC, or OSCP are highly preferred.
- Exceptional scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash for security automation.
- Demonstrated experience with SIEM tools like Splunk, Datadog Security, or Sentinel.
