Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain advanced security solutions across cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise environments.
  • Lead incident response efforts, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and post-mortem analysis.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and remediate weaknesses.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices in alignment with industry regulations and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline (DevSecOps) and promote secure coding practices.
  • Research and evaluate new security technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance our defensive capabilities.
  • Mentor junior security professionals and contribute to the continuous improvement of our security knowledge base.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide timely support for critical security incidents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field. Master's preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity engineering, with a strong focus on cloud security.
  • Expertise in security architecture, network security, identity and access management (IAM), and data protection.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and security tool development.
  • Strong understanding of common security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance requirements (SOC 2, GDPR).
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or SANS GIAC.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
