We are seeking a visionary Senior Cybersecurity Architect to join our elite team in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security architectures for cloud-native and hybrid enterprise environments.
- Conduct deep-dive vulnerability assessments and threat modeling to identify structural weaknesses.
- Lead the evaluation and integration of next-generation security tooling, including SIEM, SOAR, and EDR solutions.
- Establish corporate security policies, standards, and technical controls to maintain regulatory compliance (SOC2, HIPAA, NIST).
- Mentor junior security engineers and promote a culture of 'Security by Design' across the engineering organization.
- Coordinate incident response strategy, providing expert-level forensics and mitigation guidance during complex security events.
- Partner with DevOps teams to integrate automated security checkpoints into CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in information security architecture or security engineering.
- Current industry certifications required (e.g., CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Security, or OSCP).
- Advanced proficiency with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong scripting capabilities in Python, Go, or PowerShell for automation and task orchestration.
- Expertise in network security protocols, identity and access management (IAM), and encryption standards.
- Proven track record of success in high-pressure environments with a focus on risk management and technical excellence.
