SentinelCore Solutions is seeking a visionary Senior Cybersecurity Architect to join our elite defense team in the heart of Northern Virginia. In this role, you will define the security roadmap for cloud-native infrastructure, ensuring our clients operate within an impenetrable environment. You will lead complex security initiatives and bridge the gap between technical operations and executive strategy.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-layer security architectures for hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Lead vulnerability assessment programs and orchestrate incident response strategies.
- Develop and enforce Zero Trust security protocols across the enterprise.
- Conduct deep-dive threat modeling to identify and mitigate high-impact risks.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Monitor global threat landscapes to proactively update defensive posture.
- Mentor junior security analysts and lead technical security workshops.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise-grade security engineering.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or OSCP are highly preferred.
- Expert-level proficiency in cloud security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2).
- Strong scripting capabilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for security automation.
- Demonstrated experience in network security, endpoint protection, and identity management.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable security solutions.
