Responsibilities
- Architect and implement enterprise-level security solutions across hybrid cloud environments.
- Lead threat modeling exercises and perform rigorous security assessments of infrastructure designs.
- Define and enforce organizational security standards, policies, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, NIST, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate 'Security by Design' principles into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Manage security incident response activities and conduct post-mortem analysis to harden system defenses.
- Mentor junior security engineers and promote a culture of proactive security hygiene.
- Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge security tools to enhance detection and automated mitigation capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, engineering, or systems administration.
- Deep proficiency in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization security (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Expert knowledge of network protocols, encryption standards, and identity and access management (IAM) systems.
- Professional certification required: CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing Zero Trust architecture and micro-segmentation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex security risks for executive-level stakeholders.
