Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security architectures for cloud and hybrid environments.
- Lead security assessments, penetration testing oversight, and vulnerability management lifecycles.
- Act as the primary subject matter expert for incident response and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate 'Security by Design' principles into the SDLC.
- Mentor junior security engineers and promote a culture of proactive threat intelligence.
- Develop and enforce organizational security policies, compliance standards, and risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of professional experience in information security or network architecture.
- Deep expertise in AWS/Azure cloud security controls and zero-trust framework implementation.
- Industry-standard certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly preferred.
- Strong background in network protocols, encryption standards, and identity access management (IAM).
- Proven ability to communicate complex security risks to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
