In this pivotal role, you will protect sensitive government data, ensure compliance with federal standards, and lead incident response efforts to mitigate emerging threats.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies aligned with NIST and FedRAMP standards.
- Lead incident response teams during security breaches.
- Monitor security systems and analyze logs to detect anomalies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure infrastructure.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on security best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government or enterprise cybersecurity.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required).
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of NIST Cybersecurity Framework and FISMA.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and firewalls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
