Responsibilities
- Lead incident response coordination for federal agency cyber incidents
- Develop and implement advanced threat detection protocols for critical infrastructure
- Analyze intelligence reports to identify emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to establish security standards and best practices
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on classified systems
- Prepare comprehensive security briefings for senior leadership and congressional stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with federal or public sector background
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in NIST frameworks, FISMA compliance, and zero-trust architecture
- Active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for SCI access
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence tools
