Responsibilities
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for federal systems
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) alerts and coordinate incident response
- Develop and maintain security policies compliant with federal regulations
- Conduct forensic investigations of security breaches
- Train staff on security best practices and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with CISA and other federal agencies on threat intelligence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in government or regulated industry cybersecurity
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expert knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and FISMA compliance frameworks
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight) and IDS/IPS systems
- Active U.S. government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
