Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced threat intelligence analysis and incident response coordination for federal agencies
- Develop and implement cybersecurity frameworks for critical infrastructure protection
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of government systems
- Collaborate with international partners on cybersecurity standards and threat sharing
- Prepare comprehensive security briefings for senior government officials
- Mentor junior analysts and oversee security operations center activities
- Advise on emerging technologies like quantum computing and AI security implications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in federal cybersecurity roles or equivalent public sector experience
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification required
- Expert knowledge of NIST frameworks, FISMA compliance, and FedRAMP standards
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), penetration testing, and network security
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-agency cybersecurity initiatives
