Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement K-12 curriculum frameworks aligned with state and national standards
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to create engaging, inclusive learning materials
- Conduct needs assessments and learning analytics to inform curriculum improvements
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing multimedia educational resources (digital and print)
- Ensure accessibility and compliance with ADA and WCAG guidelines for all materials
- Train educators on new curriculum implementation and best practices
- Monitor curriculum effectiveness through data-driven evaluation and iterative refinement
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in K-12 curriculum development or educational publishing
- Proficiency in LMS platforms (Canvas, Moodle) and authoring tools (Articulate, Adobe Captivate)
- Experience with backward design and Understanding by Framework
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Deep knowledge of current educational technology trends and pedagogical innovations
- Portfolio demonstrating successful curriculum development projects
