Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement innovative K-12 curriculum frameworks aligned with state and national standards
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to create engaging digital and print learning materials
- Analyze educational trends and research to inform curriculum enhancements and pedagogical approaches
- Lead workshops and training sessions for educators on implementing new curriculum components
- Develop assessment tools and performance metrics to measure curriculum effectiveness and student outcomes
- Manage curriculum projects from conception through implementation, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from educators and students to continuously refine materials
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or related field
- 5+ years of experience developing K-12 curriculum with proven track record of implementation success
- Expertise in educational technology platforms (e.g., Canvas, Google Classroom) and digital content creation tools
- Strong understanding of diverse learning styles and inclusive education practices
- Experience with project management methodologies and curriculum mapping software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex concepts clearly
- Certification in instructional design or educational technology preferred
- Portfolio showcasing curriculum development projects and student achievement data
