Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging K-12 curriculum modules aligned with Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards
- Create interactive e-learning content using authoring tools (Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate)
- Conduct learning needs assessments and analyze performance metrics to iterate content effectiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate multimedia elements (video, gamification, simulations)
- Develop formative and summative assessments with embedded analytics tracking
- Maintain version control documentation and ensure content accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1)
- Mentor junior instructional designers and conduct peer review sessions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of curriculum development experience with K-12 educational technology
- Portfolio demonstrating 15+ completed curriculum projects with measurable impact data
- Expertise in ADDIE, SAM, and backward design methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in LMS platforms (Canvas, Schoology) and authoring tools
- Strong understanding of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles
- Experience with learning analytics platforms (Tableau, Google Analytics)
- Ability to manage multiple projects in deadline-driven environments
