Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging K-12 STEM curriculum modules aligned with Next Generation Science Standards
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create interactive lesson plans and assessment tools
- Lead pilot testing programs with partner schools and iterate based on educator/student feedback
- Develop multimedia learning resources including videos, simulations, and hands-on activities
- Train educators on curriculum implementation and provide ongoing pedagogical support
- Analyze learning outcomes data to continuously refine content effectiveness
- Manage project timelines and deliverables for multiple curriculum development initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Design, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience developing K-12 STEM curriculum with proven impact metrics
- Expertise in instructional design frameworks (ADDIE, SAM) and educational technology tools
- Strong background in project management with ability to deliver complex projects on schedule
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and authoring tools (Articulate, Adobe Captivate)
- Portfolio demonstrating curriculum development with measurable learning outcomes
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- State teaching certification or equivalent educational credentials
