Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive K-12 curriculum frameworks aligned with state standards and emerging educational trends
- Create multimedia learning assets including interactive simulations, video tutorials, and adaptive assessments
- Lead cross-functional workshops with educators and subject matter experts to refine content efficacy
- Analyze learning analytics to iterate on curriculum design and improve learner engagement metrics
- Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design practices across all deliverables
- Manage curriculum implementation pilots and gather stakeholder feedback for continuous improvement
- Stay current with edtech innovations and integrate emerging tools into development workflows
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience developing K-12 or higher education curriculum with proven impact metrics
- Expertise in authoring tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms (Canvas, Moodle)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating curriculum projects with measurable learning outcomes
- Understanding of backward design principles and UDL framework implementation
- Experience with data analysis tools to assess curriculum effectiveness
- Certification in instructional design (e.g., CPTD, ATD) or educational technology
