Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement K-12 curriculum aligned with state standards and emerging educational technologies
- Conduct needs assessments and learning analytics to optimize curriculum effectiveness
- Lead cross-functional projects with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and technology teams
- Create engaging multimedia content including interactive simulations, gamified modules, and adaptive assessments
- Analyze learner performance data and iterate curriculum based on evidence-based insights
- Train educators on new curriculum implementation and pedagogical best practices
- Stay current with educational research and emerging trends in instructional technology
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience developing curriculum for K-12 or higher education
- Proficiency in authoring tools (Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms
- Strong understanding of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles and accessibility standards
- Demonstrated success in data-driven curriculum optimization and impact measurement
- Experience managing complex educational projects with multiple stakeholders
- Portfolio showcasing innovative curriculum design and student engagement strategies
- Certification in instructional design (e.g., CPTD, ATD) highly desirable
