Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative curriculum materials aligned with state and national education standards
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging lesson plans, assessments, and multimedia resources
- Conduct research on emerging educational methodologies and integrate best practices into curriculum design
- Lead professional development workshops for educators on new curriculum implementation
- Analyze student performance data to refine curriculum effectiveness and address learning gaps
- Manage curriculum projects from conception through implementation with strict deadlines
- Stay current with educational technology trends and incorporate appropriate digital tools
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in K-12 curriculum development or educational publishing
- Strong understanding of Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards
- Expertise in instructional design models and adult learning principles
- Proficiency in curriculum authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate)
- Excellent project management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and stakeholder management
