Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive K-12 curriculum frameworks aligned with state and national standards
- Create engaging multimedia learning materials including interactive modules, assessments, and virtual simulations
- Conduct pedagogical research to identify emerging trends in educational technology and learning science
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all curriculum products
- Analyze learner data to iterate and improve curriculum effectiveness and engagement metrics
- Mentor junior developers and conduct peer reviews to maintain high-quality standards
- Present curriculum innovations at industry conferences and contribute to educational publications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Design, Instructional Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience developing K-12 or adult education curriculum
- Proficiency in authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms
- Strong understanding of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles
- Experience with data-driven curriculum improvement and learning analytics
- Certification in instructional design or educational technology preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful curriculum development projects
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
