Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and iterate on comprehensive K-12 curriculum frameworks aligned with state and national educational standards
- Create engaging multimedia learning materials including interactive modules, video content, and assessment tools using authoring platforms
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to gather content requirements and ensure pedagogical accuracy
- Analyze learning analytics to refine curriculum effectiveness and implement evidence-based improvements
- Lead cross-functional projects with instructional designers, UX specialists, and software developers
- Develop educator training programs and implementation guides for new curriculum products
- Stay current with emerging educational technologies and research trends to innovate learning solutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Design, Instructional Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience developing curriculum for K-12 or higher education institutions
- Proficiency in authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms
- Strong understanding of instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Backward Design)
- Experience with learning analytics and data-driven curriculum improvement
- Portfolio demonstrating successful curriculum development projects with measurable outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Certification in instructional design (e.g., CPTD, ATD) preferred
