Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement innovative K-12 curricula aligned with Next Generation Science Standards and state frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams of educators, subject matter experts, and instructional designers in curriculum prototyping
- Analyze educational data and student performance metrics to iterate curriculum effectiveness
- Create professional development workshops for teachers on implementing new pedagogical approaches
- Integrate emerging EdTech tools and adaptive learning platforms into curriculum frameworks
- Develop assessment tools that measure competency mastery and inform instructional adjustments
- Manage curriculum implementation across 15+ partner schools with fidelity monitoring
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive curriculum development experience in K-12 settings
- Proven expertise in backward design and UbD (Understanding by Design) methodology
- Deep knowledge of educational neuroscience and differentiated instruction principles
- Advanced proficiency in LMS platforms (Canvas, Schoology) and authoring tools (Articulate)
- Experience managing curriculum projects with budgets exceeding $500K
- Published research in peer-reviewed educational journals or industry white papers
- Strong portfolio demonstrating curriculum impact on student achievement metrics
