Responsibilities
- Design and develop K-12 curriculum materials aligned with state and national educational standards
- Create interactive digital learning modules incorporating multimedia elements and adaptive technologies
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and pedagogical effectiveness
- Conduct needs assessments and learning analytics to continuously refine curriculum offerings
- Lead training workshops for educators on implementing new instructional strategies
- Manage curriculum development projects from conception to implementation with strict deadlines
- Stay current with emerging educational technologies and best practices in instructional design
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field
- 5+ years of experience developing K-12 curriculum with proven track record of implementation
- Expertise in authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms
- Strong understanding of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles
- Experience with learning management systems and educational technology integration
- Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Portfolio demonstrating curriculum development projects with measurable outcomes
- Certification in instructional design (e.g., CPTD, ATD) preferred
