Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive K-12 curriculum frameworks aligned with state and national standards
- Create engaging multimedia learning materials including interactive modules, assessments, and virtual labs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate emerging educational technologies
- Conduct pedagogical research to identify innovative teaching methodologies
- Provide training and support for educators implementing new curricula
- Monitor curriculum effectiveness through data analysis and continuous improvement cycles
- Lead curriculum revision projects based on student performance feedback
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in K-12 curriculum design or educational publishing
- Expertise in instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, backward design)
- Proficiency with authoring tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate)
- Strong understanding of Common Core and Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
- Experience with learning management systems (Canvas, Schoology)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into age-appropriate content
- Portfolio of developed curriculum materials and learning objects
