Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative K-12 and professional development curricula aligned with educational standards
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging multimedia learning materials
- Conduct needs assessments and learning analytics to inform curriculum improvements
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing educational technology solutions
- Develop assessment frameworks to measure learning outcomes and program effectiveness
- Stay current with emerging educational technologies and pedagogical methodologies
- Mentor junior instructional designers and conduct peer reviews of curriculum content
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience developing curriculum for K-12 or corporate training environments
- Proficiency in authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate)
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models
- Experience with learning management systems (Canvas, Moodle, Cornerstone)
- Portfolio demonstrating curriculum development projects with measurable impact
- Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines
