Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive K-12 curriculum materials aligned with state and national standards
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging lesson plans, assessments, and digital resources
- Conduct needs analysis to identify educational gaps and develop targeted solutions
- Implement learning management systems (LMS) and educational technologies to enhance delivery
- Train educators on curriculum implementation and best pedagogical practices
- Analyze learner data to continuously improve content effectiveness
- Lead cross-functional teams in curriculum development projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Design, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in K-12 curriculum development or educational publishing
- Expertise in instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) and adult learning principles
- Proficiency with authoring tools (Articulate, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms
- Strong project management skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with data-driven curriculum evaluation and improvement
- Teaching certification preferred
