Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive K-12 curriculum frameworks aligned with state standards and emerging educational trends
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop interactive digital learning modules, assessments, and supplementary resources
- Analyze student performance data to refine curriculum effectiveness and address learning gaps
- Train educators on new instructional methodologies and curriculum implementation strategies
- Stay current with educational research and technology innovations to inform curriculum decisions
- Collaborate with product development teams to integrate curriculum with learning management systems
- Evaluate curriculum impact through pilot programs and continuous improvement cycles
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Design, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive curriculum development experience in K-12 or higher education
- Expertise in backward design and Understanding by Design principles
- Proven track record of developing successful digital learning resources
- Strong data analysis skills with experience using LMS and educational analytics platforms
- Experience managing curriculum implementation across diverse school districts
- Excellent project management skills with ability to lead complex initiatives
- Valid New York State teaching certification or equivalent
