Responsibilities
- Design and implement innovative K-12 curriculum frameworks aligned with Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards
- Develop differentiated instructional materials including multimedia resources, assessment tools, and project-based learning modules
- Conduct pedagogical research and pilot testing to evaluate curriculum effectiveness and impact
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including instructional designers, content specialists, and technology partners
- Lead educator training workshops and provide ongoing support for curriculum implementation
- Analyze student performance data to refine curriculum and address learning gaps
- Stay current with emerging educational technologies and pedagogical methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing K-12 curriculum with proven impact on student outcomes
- Expertise in backward design principles and UbD (Understanding by Design) framework
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and educational authoring tools
- Strong data literacy skills with experience in educational analytics
- Experience leading curriculum implementation across diverse school districts
- Published research or portfolio demonstrating curriculum innovation
- Valid teaching license in Massachusetts or equivalent jurisdiction
