Responsibilities
- Lead negotiation and drafting of complex M&A agreements, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on SEC compliance, corporate governance, and risk mitigation
- Manage cross-functional legal teams and external counsel on multi-jurisdictional matters
- Develop innovative compliance frameworks for emerging technologies and digital assets
- Mentor junior attorneys through hands-on training and career development initiatives
- Drive firm thought leadership through published articles and industry conference presentations
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from ABA-accredited law school with admission to NY Bar
- 8+ years of corporate law experience at top-tier law firms or in-house legal departments
- Proven expertise in M&A transactions with deal values exceeding $500M
- Deep knowledge of SEC regulations, corporate governance, and risk management frameworks
- Exceptional negotiation skills with track record of securing favorable client outcomes
- Admitted to practice in New York State and eligible for in-house counsel privileges
