Responsibilities
- Lead M&A transactions and capital market deals from due diligence to closing
- Develop corporate compliance programs and advise on regulatory matters
- Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements
- Manage litigation strategy and oversee external counsel relationships
- Provide strategic legal guidance to C-suite executives and board committees
- Mentor junior attorneys and conduct legal training workshops
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from ABA-accredited law school
- 8+ years of corporate law experience at a top-tier law firm
- Active Illinois State Bar membership in good standing
- Proven expertise in SEC regulations and FINRA compliance
- Superior contract negotiation and drafting abilities
- Experience managing cross-border transactions
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
