Responsibilities
- Lead M&A transactions due diligence, drafting, and regulatory compliance
- Advise C-suite executives on corporate governance and risk mitigation
- Develop and implement compliance programs for international operations
- Manage litigation strategy and external counsel relationships
- Mentor junior attorneys and optimize legal workflows
- Drive innovation in legal tech adoption and process automation
Qualifications
- JD from ABA-accredited law school with top 10% academic standing
- 10+ years corporate law experience in Big Law or in-house counsel
- Active NY State Bar license with SEC registration
- Proven M&A transaction experience (>$500M deals)
- Expertise in GDPR/CCPA compliance frameworks
- Advanced contract negotiation and drafting skills
- Legal project management certification preferred
