Responsibilities
- Lead M&A transactions and corporate restructuring deals worth $500M+
- Advise C-suite executives on SEC compliance, governance, and risk mitigation
- Develop and implement global data privacy strategies (GDPR/CCPA)
- Negotiate complex commercial contracts and strategic partnerships
- Manage litigation and regulatory investigations with external counsel
- Mentor junior attorneys and lead legal department initiatives
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion programs within the legal practice
Qualifications
- 10+ years of corporate law experience at top-tier law firms or in-house
- Admitted to New York Bar with active membership
- Expertise in M&A, securities regulation, and corporate governance
- JD from ABA-accredited law school with top 20% academic standing
- Proven track record leading cross-functional legal teams
- Certification in data privacy law (CIPP/US preferred)
- Experience with blockchain technology and fintech regulations
- Exceptional negotiation skills and business acumen
