Responsibilities
- Advise C-suite executives on corporate governance, M&A transactions, and regulatory compliance
- Lead contract negotiations for strategic partnerships worth $50M+
- Manage complex litigation and dispute resolution proceedings
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for emerging technologies (AI, blockchain)
- Mentor junior attorneys and oversee legal operations
- Represent clients before regulatory bodies (SEC, FTC, state agencies)
Qualifications
- JD from ABA-accredited law school with top 20% academic standing
- 10+ years of corporate law experience in BigLaw or in-house counsel
- Active bar membership in Massachusetts and another state
- Proven track record in M&A and technology transactions
- Expertise in data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex legal concepts
- Excellent negotiation and courtroom presence
