Responsibilities
- Lead M&A transactions, joint ventures, and complex corporate restructuring projects
- Advise C-suite executives on governance, compliance, and risk mitigation strategies
- Develop and negotiate high-value commercial contracts across global markets
- Manage litigation and regulatory matters with external counsel coordination
- Mentor junior attorneys and drive innovation in legal technology adoption
- Represent the company in industry forums and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from ABA-accredited law school and active NY bar membership
- 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate law at top-tier law firms or in-house
- Proven expertise in M&A, SEC compliance, and cross-border transactions
- Exceptional negotiation skills with ability to balance legal precision and business objectives
- Experience managing legal teams and budgets over $5M annually
- Admission to at least one additional state bar preferred
