Responsibilities
- Advise fintech startups on corporate governance, SEC compliance, and ICO regulations
- Structure and negotiate complex M&A transactions and joint ventures
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for blockchain and cryptocurrency operations
- Manage litigation portfolios and coordinate with external counsel
- Create standardized legal templates for client contracts and NDAs
- Mentor junior attorneys and lead cross-functional legal initiatives
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from ABA-accredited law school
- 8+ years of corporate law experience with fintech focus
- Active NY State Bar membership in good standing
- Proven expertise in SEC regulations and digital asset compliance
- Exceptional negotiation and contract drafting abilities
- Experience managing legal teams and budgets
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory nuances
