Responsibilities
- Lead complex M&A transactions due diligence, negotiation, and documentation
- Advise on corporate governance, SEC compliance, and risk management frameworks
- Develop contract templates and manage vendor/partner relationships
- Mentor junior attorneys while maintaining docket efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives
- Stay current on evolving fintech and data privacy regulations
Qualifications
- 8+ years corporate law experience at top-tier law firm or in-house
- JD from ABA-accredited institution with strong academic record
- New York Bar admission (required)
- Proven M&A transaction experience valued at $50M+
- Advanced contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in legal tech platforms (e.g., DocuSign, Clio)
- Exceptional analytical and client communication abilities
