Responsibilities
- Advise on corporate governance, SEC compliance, and M&A transactions
- Develop IP protection strategies for patent-heavy technology portfolios
- Negotiate complex commercial agreements with Fortune 500 clients
- Lead cross-functional compliance initiatives for international operations
- Mentor junior attorneys on legal ethics and best practices
- Conduct due diligence for venture capital funding rounds
- Represent clients in regulatory hearings and arbitration proceedings
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from ABA-accredited institution + NY Bar admission
- 8+ years corporate law experience with tech sector focus
- Proven track record in SEC reporting and securities regulations
- Expertise in data privacy laws (GDPR/CCPA) and cybersecurity frameworks
- Exceptional contract negotiation skills with $10M+ deal experience
- Strong academic credentials (top 25% law school ranking preferred)
- Admission to at least one federal district court
