Responsibilities
- Lead M&A transactions and complex corporate restructuring initiatives
- Develop and implement global compliance programs across 15+ jurisdictions
- Advise on SEC filings, corporate governance, and shareholder communications
- Manage litigation strategy and external counsel relationships
- Design contract templates for strategic partnerships and vendor agreements
- Train leadership teams on legal risk mitigation and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- 10+ years of corporate law experience at top-tier law firms or in-house
- Active NY bar license with admission in good standing
- Proven expertise in SEC regulations and corporate governance frameworks
- JD from ABA-accredited law school with top 25% academic standing
- Advanced certification in corporate compliance (e.g., CCEP) preferred
- Experience managing cross-border transactions in regulated industries
- Demonstrable ability to translate complex legal concepts for non-legal stakeholders
